About Vo Phu Thinh

Vo Phu Thinh (Võ Phú Thịnh) is an AI Engineer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He works at the AI Center of Excellence of HPT Vietnam Corporation, where he designs, builds and deploys production AI solutions built on Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents and classical Machine Learning.

In his first year as an AI Engineer he shipped three AI products to production: an event chatbot that answered more than 850 attendee questions at HPT D-DAY 2025, Lyly, an enterprise AI assistant with real-time voice and text, hybrid-search RAG and multi-step reasoning, and H.I.H HotNews Intelligence Hub, which automates business intelligence for most HPT employees. Lyly and H.I.H won second and third prize in the HPT AI in Business competition in 2025. In August 2026 he also won the Potential Impact Award at the Cross-Border AI Innovation Summit in Hanoi, a 48-hour hackathon, with Wealify Smart Finance: a 7-agent AI pipeline for cross-border e-commerce sellers, where he built the backend and the agents with his team.

His daily toolbox includes Python, PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI and Azure OpenAI models, Azure AI Search, Qdrant, FastAPI, Docker and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). He studied Information Technology at HUTECH and Open University Malaysia (2021–2025) and works in Vietnamese and English.
